To meet customers’ changing needs, Compdata Surveys is replacing Compensation Data with eight, new industry-specific surveys beginning in 2009. The results will be available to organizations across the U.S. at the regional and national level. The industry surveys include Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Hospitality, Insurance, Manufacturing, Not-For-Profit, Services and Utilities.

“Over the last year, Compdata Surveys has been hard at work redesigning the Compensation Data survey to meet our customers’ evolving needs,” said Amy Kaminski, manager of marketing programs for Compdata Surveys. “Now, instead of state-specific, cross-industry results, HR professionals can access pay and benefits information tailored to their industry and region.”

Each industry-specific resource will contain comprehensive pay and benefit information, along with salary data for more than 100 industry-specific job titles. Breakouts by local geographic area, state, region, revenue and company size are included for each job. The results also feature over 200 benchmark positions with an “All Other Industries” breakout offering users cross-industry comparisons. All of this is available at the affordable prices you’ve come to count on from Compdata Surveys.

In addition to the new results, Compdata Surveys is rolling out an additional online format. The Online Custom Edition offers query capabilities and allows customers to define their market as they see it. The printed results remain a format option, along with the Online Basic Edition, which uses predetermined criteria sets.

Organizations can also choose to access the new BenchmarkPro database, a cross-industry reference featuring pay practices information and salary data for more than 200 staff positions. With each set of regional results, organizations can compare pay by industry, region, state, local geographic area, revenue and company size.
